Århus & København.

Århus--
My mother and I began her stay by spending a few days in Aarhus.  We walked around the University, explored downtown, and went to the ARoS Museum of Modern Art with my Danish friend Sanne.  All the while, Mom was recovering from her first jet lag experience.  However, she bounced back very quickly!

København--
While in København my mother and I went to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, an art museum established in 1882.  The collections include over 10,000 pieces.  The museum is split into three eras: The Antique Collection (Greek and Romanian sculptures,) French Collection (French paintings and sculptures,) and the Danish Collection with paintings from the Danish Golden Age.
