Easter in Ebeltoft

Rune took me to north eastern Jutland, to Ebeltoft for Easter festivities!  We walked around the charming, small town of Ebeltoft which is situated on the east coast of Denmark.  The streets are covered with cobblestone, old stores, and Danish flags flying every five feet :)

After walking around the town for awhile, we stopped at an old barber shop so Rune could get a haircut.  I feel like the shop was from the 1900s, at least.  When Rune sat down, the barber immediately got him a Tuborg beer haha.  He didn't speak English, but did try one sentence with me... "do you want white wine?"  I respectively declined, for how good can white wine from a barber shop be? :)

Next, we stopped to grab lunch (this included three types of fresh fish, which is quite Danish & delicious!)  Midway through lunch these "Ebeltoft Guards" came in an sang a song to us in Danish.  What a charming town Ebeltoft is!

Later on in the evening, Rune and I went to his parents summerhouse for Easter dinner. I had suchhh a lovely time.

Back in Aarhus...

Rune and I spent Easter Sunday at a huge outdoor market shopping, well I shopped.. he held my bags :)  Then we went on a lovely walk and had lunch by the water.  We had a wonderful Easter!

Sending all of my love!
