This was my first time cooking Thanksgiving by myself, and it was a huge success! We had roasted chicken with cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes with honey, cornbread, my mama's cornbread dressing, rolls, and steamed broccoli. I was shocked that the girls had never had sweet potatoes, cornbread, or cranberry sauce! Here are some pictures:
Having a heart attack while having to prepare the chicken.

Yuuuumy.
Proud moment. Dinner complete.
Team effort.
Good friends, good food, great times.

It's so funny how sometimes you don't realize that not EVERY country and culture shares the same traditions that you're used to and this is the PERFECT example of such a situation! hahah we take cornbread, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes to be such a typical Thanksgiving food, plus who doesn't love that stuff ne ways, but I'm sure that there is a LOOOOT of super dank food that European's eat that we've never even heard of! BUT at the end of the day ya'll got a beer holiday in Denmark! And I can't think of a SINGLE "beer holiday" in the U.S. hahaha...I bet there are many holidays all over in Europe that we don't have here...like OUR 4th of July, I bet they have some "freedom" holidays or something similar as well......
The food looks delightful and GREAT JOB on presenting such an important American holiday to your friends Bailey!!! OOT OOT little chef Bailey in the kitcheeeeen :) I'm so proud of you! I'm yet to have to prepare a Thanksgiving feast by myself, thanks to the older women in my life hehehe, but I'm sure someday I'll take on the endeavor just like you :)
LOVE N MISS YA LOTA BAILS!!!
