So Miss Maggie arrived safely to Denmark. Rune and I took her out on Saturday night for a true Danish evening night out: eating incredible Danish food and bar hopping until 5 AM. Here are a few photos from our adventures:
Rune and I.. :)
I have no idea what's going on here.

Rune and I killing "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra. The two people at the end joined us for a dramatic kick-line to finish the song!
So far, each time someone has come to visit me I learn more about my experience here. By being with people that know me the best, they can identify how my experience has changed me. With this visit, I can also identify this by just watching Maggie.
Danish culture is unique in their way of life and social etiquette. Rune and I explained some major cultural difference to Maggie, and ways that her actions may offend Dane's. Instead of conforming to the former, she took it upon herself to offend as many Dane's as possible. We kept count with a point system :) Some examples: server's at restaurants don't "chit-chat" with their customers like in America; Maggie asked our server loads of questions. Unless you previously know a person, it is uncommon to physically touch someone; Maggie hugged our server and have a "high-five" at least 10 people on the street.
By observing Maggie's abrasive, care-free interactions it made me feel like I was back in the States! It also made me realize how much I am conforming to Danish culture. Meaning, I would never do what she did. I have figured out the rules of social etiquette and properly follow them. My goal has been to completely immerse myself into this culture, including living the way most Dane's do. I didn't realize how much I actually had.
All in all, life is good. And I am very happy:)
Sending my love!
